First featured in Rhyolite at the Goldwell Bullfrog Biennale as part of their three day art event, Ansible is a motion sensor sound installation conceptualized by quindo Miller & Mikayla Whitmore. Powered by solar energy, the form emits two styles of modulating harmonics. The noises are characterized of melodic drones and ambient loops written and edited by Miller. Inspired by Science Fiction, Ansible is an interpretation of an alien device determined to send signals to outer space.
